CERTIFICAT D'URBANISME.
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF 'Certificat d'urbanisme'
A) Grants information on zoning of property and taxes.
B) Grants permission for a project subject to submission of
a detailed demande de Permis de Construire for new housing,
barn conversions, extensions etc.
DECLARATION DE TRAVAUX.
Used for minor works such as installing windows, doors, roof
lights, renovating external render, constructions under 20sq
metres. Etc.
PERMIS DE CONSTRUIRE.
Necessary for any works which extend the property, change the
use of all or any part of the property( buildings or land) or
add more floor space.
These are the main planning proceedures we help and advice
on these and all other aspects of planning.
NB: "The Planning System is to be totally
revised on 1st October 2007. The Permis de Construire will
remain and cover more categories of work, Déclaration
de Travaux will go and be replaced by another . We will update
this information when full details are available."
